The Amazing Rise and The Spectacular Fall of Mr. Propaganda

The Amazing Rise and The Spectacular Fall of Mr. Propaganda Follow Edward Bernays, the father of Propaganda, as he gives birth to Public Relations, rises to the top of the steaming pile of marketing heap only to have his methods fail as they encounter the Social Media juggernaut.

Can some of his methods still be used?

They were effective once but can they be applied to todayโ€™s open nature of Social Media space?

You be the judge.

This is a factual account of one manโ€™s life that is worthy of a Dan Brown novel.

I hope you enjoy reading this fun and exciting romp through the history of Propaganda as much as I enjoyed writing it.

On a cool side note. I am really happy with the Mad Men inspired design.

Using red/black color combination I was able to project two book titles (into the reader’s brain) for the price of one.

The Amazing, The Spectacular AND Rise and Fall of Propaganda.

Very NLP…don’t you think?

After you’re done reading it, I hope you will share your thoughts on this subject. There is a link conveniently provided in the EBook to make it easy to come back.

OMG Ed Bernays! I love him. Learned all about him in class and on a BBC Documentary called Century of the Self. Nifty subject.

What has changed to Bernays’ ideology with social media?! Nothing. For a brief moment in time, it was a free new frontier. That’s loooong gone. I work for an ad agency, and let me assure you, there’s obviously new models to fit the framework of digital, but the principles are the same. Sorry, you’re still not free ๐Ÿ™
