    I have just landed a dream job as Managing Editor of Sprout Social Insights Blog – and I got this job by taking a HUGE risk…

    Thank you guys for bring up those valid points, as a Candidate for any job one has the power to turn down the opportunity. Setting the tone by using the drink, and the science of the handshake most people don’t know about it, nor eye contact as a tool. Another thing most people have an issue with is interviewing with one or more at a time… don’t see it as intimidating, see it as a positive. Awesome podcast!!

      yeah…that handshake/eye contact is so critical to the job interview process..we talked so much about just that aspect of the process…very cool and interesting stuff.

    Dino and Corey, great career/job search podcoast. As a job hunter I’ve listened to enough media to recognize good information when I hear it. The parts that I really enjoyed listening to were about handshaking and eye contact. I enjoy shaking hands when I meet people and looking people in the eye, and to have someone give me a limp handshake (or nearly break my hand) and not look me in the eye, or even to refuse to handshake has really made me wonder how certain people obtained their positions. I’m glad I took the time to listen. When I first saw the blog notice in my email, I almost deleted it as sometimes I feel like I’m inundated with job hunting advice. But then I saw the word “Viking”, and as I’m a medieval history buff, I decided to listen. :)
