A Gathering of 100 Bloggers on the Day of Equinox #TribeUpNYC

Since the ancient times, tribes have gathered on the day of Autumn Equinox to share knowledge and celebrate season’s new cycle. This year, the Autumn Equinox falls on September 22nd, and Internet Media Labs and Triberr are organizing a 100 Bloggers Event to commemorate this momentous occasion.

100 Bloggers from around New York area will gather to receive knowledge, make connections, and break bread with one another, and you’re invited.

The Game Plan

Doors open at 12:30PM EST, and the Opening Ceremony starts at 1PM sharp. Don’t be late.

We will start with four hand-picked speakers delivering their best material in 20 minute sessions, followed by a couple of hours of mingling, connecting, and conversing with the area’s most talented Bloggers. Food and drinks will be provided for free.

The Wise Four

We will have 4 wise elders share their insight in short, exciting, punchy, sessions. And they are:

Lena West will present How to Leverage Influence to Drive Real Business Growth.

Lena is a blogger for Huffington Post, The Network Journal’s “40 Under Forty”, AlleyCat News’ “25 Women of Silicon Alley”, The Women’s Congress’ Entrepreneurial Champion for Women in Business and was dubbed an “Entrepreneurial Hero” by NCWIT.

She is a dynamic speaker that dispenses a no-nonsense kind of advice, and you will enjoy the hell out her, I promise.

Brendan Fitzgibbons will present How To Be Funny.

Brendan is a blogger for The Onion, Cracked magazine, and RollingStone.com. He is an accomplished Stand-Up comic and an actor. He will share the secrets of how to write entertaining, funny, and compelling content.

Dino Dogan will present Mythbusting the Blogosphere.

Dino is a blogger at DIYBloggerNET, Founder of Triberr, Strategic Marketing Consultant for hire, a speaker, and an author. but since you’re probably reading this on DIYB, you already know me :-)

    This is going to an awesome event Dino, congrats on getting it together…

    I’m getting close to really promoting Triberr here in Costa Rica. I just completed an acquisition of insidecostarica.com. This site has 10K daily unique visitors, is ranked number 3 locally and internationally and is the highest ranking site in the U.S. and Canada out of Costa Rica.

    There’s a lot that can be done to improve the site and Triberr will be a big part of the strategy… The plan is to organize the very best website/ content creators in CR on Triberr and have a daily rock concert :P
