10 Amazingly Creative Facebook Covers [Infographic]

I forgot where I saw it first, but some dude made his Facebook Cover image look like it was a G+ profile. That gave me the idea to trick-out my Facebook page as if it was my Triberr profile page.

Both examples are included in this infographic. I hope you’ll get inspired to do something funny, clever, unusual, or outrageous with your Facebook Cover image as well.

Number 2 very obviously breaks the “call to action” rule.

It’s a link to an external website, dude. FB TOS state that you can’t have links in your FB banner.

These are good, Dino! Much better that what I found for my article:
    [sorry about the pitch here…]

I don’t know about No’s 2 and 4 though. First I thought they were clever, but naah! Too obvious play, man! And yours will be banned because of that URL there, mate!
My personal favourite is definitely the chick inside the washing machine! The obvious design game here is to integrate the little profile photo into the larger banner. I’m actually amazed how few big companies take advantage of that. Not even Dreamworks or Disney! Disney’s got a bloody Mickey Mouse against a Lion King banner. WTF!? Maybe they need to hire more skilled Photoshoppers or something?
